Hello there my friends, my name is Liam, I'm 17 years old and I live in the United Kingdom. I'm currently taking 3 A levels in College (Geography, IT and Media) at the moment along with partaking in a lot of online gaming
How did I find Freedom?
I actually found Freedom through an old friend of mine who also was partnered with Freedom. This was nearly 2 years ago with another YouTube channel I had called TPShawnn. I didn't like my content very much so I decided to have a fresh start Freedom has been quite a friendly place over the past years and until now, I never realised there was such a big community like this.
Why did I join the forums?
Well, I actually wanted to find content creators similar to myself and the content I create. This would be a great opportunity to create new friends and enjoy not only gaming but creating videos with other people together. I also joined the forums because when I discovered it today, I thought that posting within this community would allow me to be heard from other people that are not aware of me and my content, allowing me to grow (Just like the Great British Pound).
What are my hobbies?
Do not get me wrong people, I do go out in the sun and socialise with my friends, I am not Smeagol from LOTR I just simply love gaming and do what I do. The many games I play consist of:
Why did you start YouTube?
I started YouTube when I was 13, I made a total of 3 accounts including this one. Lets just say that one channel was very cringey to look back due to puberty not kicking in at that age (squeaky voice and awkward) and the second channel due to the content that I didn't enjoy making anymore. I continue to do YouTube because its quite rewarding when you create a video and gain positive feedback, It makes you enthusiastic and makes you want to create another. That and the enjoyment of creating videos is fantastic!
What kind of channel do you run?
My channel is mostly gaming, however I have not put 'Gaming' as my prefix for the title of my introduction. This is because the content that I create, I try to make it as funny and as enjoyable as possible for the viewer. I feel videos such as Let's Plays can be sometimes dull for the viewer. In order to make the viewer enjoy the video as much as possible, I select all the funny parts of the samples I recorded and put them all in one video. It's like making a montage again and again. It is time consuming but It is worth it.
How frequently do you upload?
I really try to upload once a week but It can be difficult when you have coursework and other things piling up in real life. If you are taking or have took Media as an A level, you will understand xD. That and we all know that games can be quite addictive and we can never draw ourselves back. I am trying to make an effort to follow this guideline again.
