Honestly, YouTube is the best place to learn. Anything you need help with, just search it nd you will get hundreds of tutorials for it. I learnt everything from YouTube.
Use basic software first and move on to more difficult Software after that
Experiment. When I used to enjoy editing I couldn't get enough of experimenting with stuff. Don't always use the same filters and transitions, make them different every time! Try something, and if you don't like it Ctrl+Z it out.
If you want to do something but can't figure out how, look it up. Not only on YouTube will you find detailed help but just google it! You will find a way.
Try and experiment. I can't stress this enough. You learn the most out of trying stuff out.
Lynda is a site that has tons of great tutorials if you're willing to pay a bit for them. Otherwise, just do a bit of searching on Youtube for basic video editing tutorials. Not all are perfect, but there's enough good ones out there to pick up some editing skills.
