I kind of tinker around with youtube banners but programs such as photoshop get a bit tedious and takes ages but there is a really easy way to do it 
Download the image below and keep it safe, No doubt you'll use it again and again!
Then head over to and Pic Monkey click " edit ".
You will then get the option to choose an image from your computer, Use the downloaded file.
You may want to start off by changing the background colour or add a background image.
I used this video when I started out and id recommend checking it out if you need some help getting started, Once youve got this down you can get really creative with your banners!
