Gearbox has officially confirmed at PAX East. Borderlands 3 or 4 (Gearbox can't count so we don't care anymore either). Apparently this is all taking place after Battleborn is done with production. The biggest question is, Gearbox has already taken this series to space and back. What's left? Telltale seemed to do a better job giving narrative life to the source material than Gearbox could. Or maybe this is just a sign of Randy Pitchford being....Randy Pitchford.
