Hey Freedomers,
I've just finished what I spent the last few hours on - a new website for my YouTube channel. I've created the site as a way for my fanbase to communicate with me, and instead of me having to look through piles of comments, the users can just simply sign up and talk with other community members, and answer polls and other stuff.

It's primary purpose though, is to provide a place where I make a written version of my video, for the hearing impared to understand what I'm saying, especially since YouTube captions aren't very accurate. It can also be used as a place to put together the download links and details for certain map reviews that I do and other stuff like that.

The site is run off the awesome enjin platform. which some of the Minecraft Communitys biggest servers are run off, meaning that anyone who has signed up for a site created on the enjin platform doesn't need to sign up again, just login using the same details which is quite convenient to users.

If you want to see the site for yourself visit the link on the first comment below, hopefully you like it!

Thanks,
DelusionalMC

P.S : I have a feeling I've posted this in the wrong place - if I have could an Administrator move it, or tell me where to repost it, thanks!

nice going bro. but I don't know if I really found your youtube channel. because I found it with none video's... but ifyou really don;t have video's it wil be better if you start with making video's and a trailer for you channel. but your website looks good for the beta version. but always try to keep updating your website and it wil come alright! ;)

From designer aspect (me) i think first to get rid from the free domain name it's not cool at all. And i think theme it's free for use but from me i rate this site 8/10 cuz its easy to use and colors are good. Keep it up, when you got website you always look more professional! And don't forget to have fun bro :)!

Thanks, also The base design is for free use but several elements are custom designed. Also I'm thinking of moving to XenForo, but for now Its not really worth it... I guess the license is just gonna gather dust until I find something to do with it xD

XenForo is not for beginners, just go on wordpress for blog and simple machines forum (smf) if you got forum, cuz its free and you can edit like you want it.

I don't think you should be making a website for your YouTube channel at this point in time.. I would wait until I've gotten a pretty large following or fanbase (At least 5,000 subscribers or so) before thinking about stuff like this. Pretty nice website though.

Unfortunately while its a good move in a way it does look very unprofessional. I have a website for my stuff which will have youtube once I really get going on it which you can see here ( http://www.devj.uk/jmc/ ). <-- not meant to be advertising just an example of something that looks rather good. When you have a larger fanbase you should also consider getting a domain name (there cheap and only a yearly fee to have) along with some web hosting to host custom websites online, it looks a lot better if its custom.

I do currently have unlimited web hosting, thing is I want my site to be interactive, so a place where users can communicate - guess XenForo is going to have to be used, cause it's pretty much the only interactive forum software that still allows specialised features.
