It's currently a known issue that you are seemingly able to access the accounts of others. This mostly happens with referred channels though it only looks as if you had the ability to edit settings. I've checked it out and any changes you make will be rejected once they reach the server. Here's the official thread about it: https://freedom.community.tm/posts/990425/

You are NOT able to edit settings even if the UI tells you you can.
